Chris Donald

Actor and Writer, Chris Donald was given his first opportunity in the business by Paddy Cuneen at the age of 18, in the highly acclaimed play ‘Fleeto’ about Glasgow knife crime. Since then, Chris went on graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland receiving the James Bridie Award for his year group and went on to become the actor intern at The Citizen’s Theatre under Dominic Hill. Chris has since worked in Theatre, T.V and Film and is most recently establishing himself as a writer too with his adaptation of The Brother’s Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky (UoC).

His recent credits include Philip Wylie in Outlander Season 4 and 5 (Starz, Amazon Prime), Lawrence in LoveSick (Netflix) and Jim in Moon Dogs (Clydebank Films) as well as Teo in the independent film ‘Concrete’. Theatre credits include: Coleman in The Lonesome West (Tron Theatre) Lebazyatnikov in Crime and Punishment, Ban in The Jungle Book (Citizen’s Theatre. Radio credit; Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (BBC Radio Scotland)
